Why taking ABRSM exams

Taking exams is something to strive towards. Although they are not a requirement, the sense of achievement and additional motivation makes them very worthwhile. You gain valuable feedback from a respected examiner and attain an internationally-respected qualification in the process. This is also an excellent addition to your CV.

ABRSM exams are usually organized once per year at the end of the spring semester. They give motivation to players and singers of all levels by providing clear goals and following and measuring their progress. Exams are overseen by a panel of teachers and are provided for various levels of musicians, from beginners to diplomas for advanced students and/or professionals.
